Line Breaks & Other Violent Crimes

These are things I think about in order to stay alive in Los Angeles.

I’m sure this is super old news to a lot of people, but Scrivener’s “Compose” function is BLOWING MY MIND. It blacks out my whole screen except for the document I’m actually working on! I can’t even distractedly look at the upper right-hand corner of my screen every 30 seconds and think about how many minutes I have left until my self-imposed “break” time!

Writing on a computer just got even less distracting than writing in a notepad.

(p.s. for the curious: those are all quotes from the Albert Goldbarth book Everyday People, of which I am currently writing a review that is in a super messy stage at the moment … but Scrivener is doing its best to fix that for me.)
