I’m pretty excited for Inherent Vice

I’ve taken seven different stabs at Gravity’s Rainbow off and on through my life. After I finish this run on Atlas Shrugged, Gravity’s Rainbow better look out… Because i will have mastered holding books that are too big for my hands.

That damn book took me at least 6 attempts before I finally got through it. Infinite Jest read like Sweet Valley High after that.

Yeah, Gravity’s Rainbow gave me fits, too … but read The Crying of Lot 49, because that is like pure gold, and I think it’s less than 200 pages. Or very short, anyway. And it’s also pure genius.
